E.J. Kidd & Company is poised for growth in 2009.
E.J. Kidd & Company is an AWI certified architectural millwork company based out of Raleigh NC. They have been serving residential and commercial builders, remodelers and home owners with a variety of millwork products since 1992. Their interior emphasis has been straight and curved mouldings, archways and built-ins. Their exterior emphasis has been shutters, window screens and porch screens.
While their core of manufacturing functions are not subject to change for the upcoming year 2009, their market focus will broaden. This refocus will include more effort in residential and commercial cabinetry and curved stairs. "Very few equipment additions are necessary because our existing process bodes well for cabinetry and curved stairs" says Eric Kidd, company president. "These product line additions depend heavily on CAD software and CNC equipment which are resources that have been on board for a number of years due to the demands of arch work. To use these resources for cabinetry and curved stairs only seems fitting".
"As sure as our product market will broaden in 2009, so will our geographic market. Our company's history has been primarily rooted in North Carolina's Triangle and Piedmont areas. A shift into national markets is a transition that began in 2001. Therefore, an even more aggressive approach to national markets in 2009 and beyond should be a natural undertaking".
